Flame-painted Copper Cross #.2095
A striking harmony of organic warmth and spiritual form, the Flame-Painted Copper Cross No. 2095 is a completed, one-of-a-kind original ready for immediate display. Hand-sculpted from heavy-gauge solid copper, the cross features dynamic, folded dimensional contours that create dramatic depth and shadow along every edge. Structural intersections and contact points are permanently fused using high-temperature silver brazing, ensuring lifetime durability and enduring strength.
The cross is treated with our signature freehand flame-painting technique, utilizing precise torch heat to coax an iridescent palette directly from the raw copper—revealing vivid magenta, violet, fiery crimson, and electric cobalt blue hues. Finished in a specialized protective matte coat, the surface offers a contemporary, non-reflective presentation that preserves the full saturation and subtle undertones of the heat patina without requiring polishing or maintenance.
This sculpture is a finished, one-of-a-kind original work of art. While custom variations inspired by this style can be commissioned upon request, the specific heat bloom patterning, folds, and natural color spectrum of this cross are completely unique and cannot be duplicated.
